Terms & Legal

Terms of Service

The legal framework governing the use of AsoreOnline platforms and services.

1. Provision of Service & Workspaces

AsoreOnline provides a cloud-based multi-tenant digital church management system and public website platform. Account registration and provision of dedicated church workspaces are subject to application review, verification of church legitimacy, and adherence to these Terms of Service.

2. Subscriber Church Responsibilities & Data Rights

Each church subscriber retains full legal ownership of all data uploaded or collected through its workspace. The subscriber church is solely responsible for obtaining necessary consents from its members under applicable data protection laws prior to entering personal data, financial contributions, or children check-in records into AsoreOnline.

3. Account Security & Role Access

Subscriber churches must ensure that account administrative credentials and role permissions (Pastors, Admins, Finance Officers, Volunteer Coordinators) are granted only to authorized personnel. Sharing user credentials across multiple individuals is strictly prohibited.

4. Subscription Fees, Billing & Service Modifications

Services are billed on a subscription basis (monthly or annually) in Ghana Cedis (GHS) or designated currency via authorized payment gateways (Paystack/Mono). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the billing cycle. AsoreOnline reserves the right to modify subscription fees or tier limits with at least 30 days notice to administrators.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

Churches and users may not use AsoreOnline to: (a) send unsolicited bulk messaging (spam) via integrated SMS/Email tools; (b) host, store, or transmit illegal, abusive, or infringing content; (c) attempt to breach system security or bypass tenant isolation guards; or (d) misrepresent organizational identity or authority.

6. Service Availability, Backups & Disclaimer of Warranties

While AsoreOnline employs industry-standard infrastructure redundancy, data backups, and monitoring to maintain high uptime, the platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. AsoreOnline does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AsoreOnline Ltd and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of revenues, or loss of data resulting from platform downtime or third-party service outages.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation before formal legal proceedings.
